Internship Opportunities Gain
valuable experience, build your resume, and fulfill credit requirements on a Democratic U.S. Congressional campaign! Interested in building your career, or just want to learn about the political process firsthand? Larry Joe Doherty is running
for the Democratic nomination in the 10th Congressional District of Texas. There are immediate openings for leadership positions
in the Field and Finance departments of Larry Joe's campaign. Interested interns can expect to work directly
with the candidate and his staff in advance work, volunteer organizing, visibility, and voter contact. You will also have the opportunity to learn about how political field strategy is developed and implemented – developing
your skills by working with political professionals who work on Federal campaigns around the United States. The time commitment is very flexible. We understand that students have many other responsibilities, so we can work
with you. Larry Joe's Austin HQ is located at 3563 Far West Blvd, Ste. 104. It is conveniently
located next to the CVS and a short walk from the Post Office. Take early advantage of this opportunity
to position yourself for a leadership role in Larry Joe Doherty's congressional campaign. Interested students should immediately contact: Marco Mancillas, Field Director (877)

It's a little bit convoluted, but if you paste in this link,
it might work: http://archive.kpft.org/mp3/080221_170001news.mp3 If not, try this link: http://archive.kpft.org and go to the Thursday local news under the heading Thursday, February 21, 2008 5:00pm. You have to listen to some
music (about 3 minutes), then they introduce the news, then they cut to Austin, and then some professor comes on, and then
Andy, then the professor, then Andy.
